Accounts affected by the Passphrase Maintenance utility
Indiana University's Passphrase Maintenance utility can change or reset your passphrases on UITS shared central systems. It will change or reset your Network ID passphrase, which controls your access to the Active Directory System and governs your use of the following services:
- Access to email on Cyrus mail (e.g., using IU Webmail)
- Exchange
- IUware
- Oncourse CL
- Windows and Mac computers in IU Student Technology Centers (STCs)
- VPN
- Webserve
- Mercury
- Quarry and the Research Database Complex (RDC)
- Dial-in modems
