Feature packages available for IUPUI faculty and staff
At IUPUI, a variety of telephone feature packages are available to faculty and staff members. In the table below, select the appropriate link for details regarding each individual feature.

Following are detailed descriptions of all features available:

| Digitone Dialing | Allows touch tone dialing |
| Call Transfer | Allows you to transfer an incoming call to another line |
| Three-Way Calling | Allows you to host a three-party conference call |
| Consultation Hold | Allows you to place one call on hold while speaking with someone else |
| Call Pickup | Allows you to answer an incoming call from another phone within the same call pickup group |
| Ring Again | Rings your line when a busy phone line becomes free, and allows you to automatically redial the number |
| Call Hold | Allows you to place your current call on hold while you answer another ringing phone, make another outgoing call, or retrieve a call waiting call; for use on single line sets only |
| Call Forward All Calls | Allows you to temporarily redirect all incoming calls to another telephone; overrides Call Forward Busy and Call Forward Don't Answer features while activated. Choose Call Forwarding Universal (allows forwarding to any number) or Call Forwarding Intragroup (allows forwarding to campus numbers only). |
| Call Forward Busy | Allows call forwarding to a preselected number when your line is busy |
| Call Forward Don't Answer | Allows call forwarding to a preselected number after your line rings three times |
| Speed Call Short | Allows you to program a list of ten frequently called numbers and dial these using an access code or a key plus one digit |

| Voice Mail (VMX) | Allows you to have your calls deposited in the voice mail system, via Call Forward Busy, Call Forward Don't Answer, and Call Forward All Calls |
| Message Waiting (MWS) | Indicates when you have a voice mail message in your voice mail box with a stutter dial tone or a light, and allows you to respond. Also allows you to activate the Message Waiting lamp on another phone line; if the recipient responds, your phone is automatically dialed. |
| Make Set Busy | Allows you to turn off ringing for all lines on your set; requires a special button |
| Busy Lamp Field | Allows you to monitor a line for use; requires a special button |
| Automatic Dial | Allows you to program a button to automatically dial another number |
| Call Waiting Basic | Plays a tone on the line to notify you that another call is trying to reach you; allows you to answer the second call or let it go unanswered. If you choose to answer, you can toggle between the two calls using the Call Hold feature. |
| Intercom | Creates a direct intercom path between two business sets; requires a special button on each set |
| Key Short Hunt | Allows incoming calls to hunt through the keys on a business set to find an available number when the numbers assigned to these keys are primary on that set |
| Dial Call Waiting | Allows a station to send a Call Waiting tone against a phone by dialing a feature access code prior to dialing the on-campus five-digit number |
| Directed Call Pickup | Allows you to answer a specific ringing telephone whether or not it is in your Call Pickup Group by dialing the access code plus the station number |
| Directed Call Park | Allows you to park a call against any campus telephone number and retrieve it from any location by dialing an access code and the telephone number the call is parked against |
| Call Park | Allows you to park a call against your number and retrieve that call from another telephone line |
| Speed Call Long | Allows you to control thirty Speed Call numbers within your group |
| Speed Call User | Allows you to share a list of thirty Speed Call numbers with your group; requires one member of the group to have Speed Call Long to program the list |
| Group Intercom | Allows you to place and receive calls between group members using a one-, two-, or three-digit code. The group of phones is identified and each is assigned a Group Intercom (GIC) number. Each phone may then be dialed using its GIC number. This feature requires a special button on a multi-line telephone. |
| Six-Party Conference | Allows you to host up to a six-party conference call |
| Message Waiting Light | With the Message Waiting feature, indicates a waiting message by a light rather than a stutter dial tone. Extra feature on single line phone; default on business sets. |
