ARCHIVED: Internet connections: VPN

If you're connecting to the Internet from outside the campus network or modem pools, the virtual private network (VPN) allows you to communicate securely and to access services available only via the IU network. See Using IU's SSL VPN service and VPN at IU.

IU Secure is the wireless network for students, faculty, and staff to access on all campuses. IU Secure utilizes WPA2 Enterprise (Wi-Fi Protected Access) for authentication and encryption; no VPN is needed.
