Classrooms: Software installation requests
When a department, professor, or class requires software that is not already available in the IUB STCs, the department may sponsor the software for installation on the STC computers at IUB. The requesting department is responsible for funding and supporting departmentally sponsored software. Software must be compatible with the operating system being used in the STCs; the Windows STCs run Windows Vista Enterprise, and the Mac STCs run Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).

At IUPUI, instructors may request software installation in the STCs or on classroom and auditorium instructor stations. To request software, visit the Software Request Form (requires IU Network ID login). Software must be compatible with the operating system being used in the STCs; for more information, visit the IUPUI STC page and click the location in which you are interested.
For security reasons, students generally cannot add programs to any UITS computer. For more information, see Software requests on UITS STC computers.
