Speed calling
Speed Calling allows you to establish a list of frequently called numbers and assign a one- or two-digit code to access a particular number on the list from the touch pad. These numbers are stored on your telephone line and can be accessed even if you replace your telephone. You are limited to dialing 24 digits per Speed Call. This feature comes in three varieties: Speed Call Short, Speed Call Long, and Speed Call User.
Speed Call Short allows you to build a list of up to 10 frequently called numbers using the digits 0 to 9, while Speed Call Long allows you to build a list of up to 30 frequently called numbers using the digits 00 to 29.
Speed Call User is used in conjunction with Speed Call Long, and allows a group of people to share the list of saved numbers. One member of the group, who must have the Speed Call Long feature, is designated as the controller of the list. Only the controller can make changes to the list, but all members of the group can dial any saved number on the list.
