Making a local call
To make a local call from a campus telephone at Indiana University:
- To call another campus number, dial the last five digits of the
telephone number; e.g., for 855-1234, dial 5-1234.
Note: You can dial between IU Bloomington and IUPUI directly using only the last five digits.
- To call an off-campus local number, dial 9 and then the full seven digits of the telephone number.
