Campus Network Infrastructure
Campus Network Infrastructure (CNI) manages the Indiana University networks serving the IUPUI and Bloomington campuses. These interconnected networks provide students, faculty, and staff with direct access to resources at both locations. The core campus network also serves as a connecting point for regional campuses which use iLight circuits for connection back to the IU core. The IUB and IUPUI networks share a Gigapop connection for Internet connectivity with the connected regional campuses. In conjunction with Network Distribution, CNI manages all campus network devices (i.e., routers and switches) that provide service to all buildings and the Data Centers at IUB and IUPUI. CNI also manages firewalls that protect university data stored in the Data Centers.Contact Campus Network Infrastructure
