Six-party conference calls
At Indiana University Bloomington or IUPUI, if you have a Meridian business set (M5312 or M5316), subscribing to the Six Party Conference feature allows you to establish a call with up to six people without operator assistance. The campus number establishing the call must have the conference feature; the conference can include on-campus as well as off-campus numbers.
To set up a Six Party Conference call:
- Dial the number of the first person.
- Ask the first person to hold and press the Conference
6 button.
- Listen for the special dial tone.
- Dial the number of the second person.
- Inform the person that a conference call is being
established, and press the Conference 6 button to
include the first person.
- Repeat the steps above to include up to three additional people.
