Note: At Indiana University, if you are considering mass mailing, be aware that the University Information Policy Office (UIPO) distinguishes between administrative mailings and mail that is for interpersonal communication, and treats the two differently. For details, see IU's mass mailing policy
Before sending research surveys, you must obtain approval from the appropriate Human Subjects Committee (HSC) or Institutional Review Board (IRB) at your campus. For links to the HSC or IRB at each campus, see IU's Research Compliance page.
